What is a remote dental billing service and how does it work?
Your Zealous team remotely logs in to your software in a HIPAA compliant manner. We send clean claims, adding any narratives and attachments using your current clearinghouse. Your team also works to resolve any rejected claims. We check a folder on your desktop for any scans your office sends to us needing to be posted. When posting and all accurate adjustments are completed we leave a clear note on each claim and any unexpected adjustments, non appealable denials, and what, if any, patient portion is owed. Your Zealous team works your aging report resolving any unpaid claims quickly. Our goal is to get your over 90 days down to ZERO and to maintain that. We fight any denials your office receives and turn them into resolved claims. We offer custom reports that clearly communicate the work we have completed.
Do I need any new software?
All you need is an internet connection and a scanner. We work with many different dental softwares and clearinghouses for claims submission. If you ask for feedback we can make suggestions on softwares that would be more affordable or easier to work with.
Do I need to sign a contract?
We offer a month to month contract. If you are unhappy with our services we ask for a 30 day notice.
Is having a third party dental billing company more expensive?

Is my office still HIPAA compliant when using Zealous' services?
Absolutely! Not only do we complete yearly HIPAA training, we go to extreme measures to protect your office and patient information! Honestly, being HIPAA compliant is most important to us!
Who will handle my checks, cash, and deposit?
Your office will open all mail, take all payments and make all deposits. Zealous will never handle any of your actual money.
Does Zealous replace my office staff members?
Zealous is able to fit in wherever you need us! We often work with offices to relieve administrators of behind the scenes tasks so their existing team members can shift their focus to patient care!
